My partner and I were looking for a convenient weekend retreat within convenient (2 hours or less) driving distance of our home in South Jersey, and we certainly found it at Ed’s house! The house is situated in a secluded location offering a commanding view of a hill valley, (which is best enjoyed from the hot tub), and can comfortably accommodate at least six people. We found the photos that Ed had posted of his property to be accurate: in a nod to Eastern Pennsylvania’s colonial history, the house is full of charming Americana, and the house is also wanting for nothing in the way of creature comforts, including an artificial fireplace; an abundance of guest towels; plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware; grills located both in the driveway and on a back deck; as well as the aforementioned hot tub. We found the place to be immaculately clean during our visit. From the first, Ed was a gracious and responsive host, and we returned from our stay completely refreshed.

Ed was an Amazing host. He was super responsive and helpful from the time I booked. Had a wonderful time and was in awe oh how accommodating it was. if you forgot something, he had it there. By far the most accommodating place I have stayed at. I highly recommend and we can't wait to come back!

We had a great weekend at Ed’s place. Very clean and well organized, the hot tub is covered so the rain was no problem. Would definitely stay again. Only 10-15 minutes to downtown Jim Thorpe which was a great time as well.

We had a great stay at Ed's place and especially loved the Hot Tub and Deck. The space was cozy, quiet and beautiful. Private setting in woods with lot of details aligned in house to match with nature. House is well stocked with necessities. We would love to come back
