Cioney not only rents a space, she takes care of you holistically. She's a very easygoing and transparent person. I felt like staying with and inside a family. She keeps the house clean and she's always willing to help. Undoubtedly a place to stay again in Palmares. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe.

I had the privilege to be Cioney's first guest. Cioney went way beyond being a simple host. She opened her home to me, made me feel welcomed and safe. We had meals together, she showed me around the various surrounding towns, and introduced me to friends and family. The room is extremely private as you have the entire second floor to yourself. The description is very accurate, with a desk to work (fast and reliable internet!) and a large dresser to store your things. Esquipulas is a short 20 minute walk from the centre of Palmares. The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful, with a supermarket and a local bar just a 2 minute walk away. But besides all of that, by far the best part is the amazing host you share the house with. Cioney makes sure you feel at home, and like a flatmate more than a simple Airbnb guest :) Muchísimas gracias por la excelente primera impresión de Costa Rica!
