Denise and Eugene’s home was stunning, spacious and comfortable. They graciously hosted my parents for my wedding weekend, and my parents never wanted to leave. Everything was incredible - cannot recommend enough

Pulling into the driveway we knew this was a special Oasis. The grand pine trees lining the drive and yard were stunning. Then.. the Gardens. My how beautiful! We watched a new bird family spread their wings for the first time... butterflies visited wherever we were in the garden, yard and pool... The pups enjoyed every moment of the deck, house and incredible yard! And.. the Pool! A huge hit for all! Warm and beautiful.. birds singing everywhere. We had a fire in the main living room every morning and a fire pit fire at night outside on the lovely large deck. Our family of 8 adults, one infant, and several dogs could not have had a better family vacation. Denise and Eugene were very responsive! We had a few small issues that were resolved very quickly by their neighbor Allison and her husband who helps out Denise and Eugene and is very friendly! We enjoyed a game of mini golf with ice cream to follow nearby.. as well as a great lunch at the local Mexican restaurant.. a favorite now for sure!... Norte Azul Cantina.. just a few minutes from the house! We walked the serene neighborhood and enjoyed the wildlife (saw deer!).. and a butterfly hitched a ride on my granddaughter's stroller! .. gorgeous mountains, meadows, ponds... and friendly neighbors:) Thank you Denise and Eugene for an amazing stay. We will certainly be returning!!

The house was extremely comfortable and well equipped for our large family of all ages, and the area quite beautiful. The living room fireplace and the first floor den woodstove were welcome foci for warmth and light indoors during a cold Thanksgiving week. There was enough space to spread out for different activities. On Thursday the turkey cooked on the Weber grill outside to a deep mahogany and tasted delicious, ditto various veg, pies, and breads baked indoors. We gathered -- all 10 of us, 3 generations -- around the long table every night, to everyone's pleasure. The kitchen was unusually well equipped (no Cuisinart, but we brought one with us; there was just about everything else, including a regular and an immersion blender, an apple peeler, etc etc) and we managed to have several cooks working at once. We made one large shopping trip to the Stop and Shop (and to Guido's, which has everything high end organic one could desire) in Pittsfield, a half hour away, having brought some things from Boston with us (the turkey, a large CSA box of vegetables).The stock of toys and games and the Baby Foot game downstairs were much appreciated by the kids (5, 9, and two who turned 16 while we were there; they managed to get instant appointments in Pittsfield to get their Massachusetts learners' permits, which the back roads then allowed them to practice on). Hosts were very responsive and helpful (initially there was a problem with the heat, but the hosts were on top of it right away, sending out the heating company even on a Sunday, and again on Monday until it was fixed). It was a pleasure to correspond with Denise and Eugene. Mass MOCA and the Hancock Shaker Museum are especially worth seeing but the little Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield is good for younger kids and of interest to adults, too. Various of us took road walks exploring the hills and farms and views in the area, and the call of the woods deep and dark and snowy as we left was strong. Another time! We strongly recommend this place for a large family, really any time of year that the hosts are willing.

What a wonderful home in a nice quiet setting. We found everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Denise was accommodating and thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying here!
