This was my second stay at Megan's cabin and it was perfect! The cabin is beautiful! My kids loved the games and ping-pong table. Megan is very friendly and responsive. Thank you!
Lots of memories were made this weekend! Such a great, cozy place to spend the weekend. Garden Valley is beautiful and the cabin was the perfect stay. Comfy beds, plenty of towels for a large group. Megan was very responsive and easy to reach for questions. Booking was easy and priced very fair. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Great spot! The cabin was lovely and the spot was just great. Megan was very communicative and helpful.
Beautiful location! The cabin was set up well, with all of the things you would need. Plastic bags for leftovers made leaving with our extra food easy, and extra paper towels made for easy clean up. There were extra towels. The kitchen was overly well stocked and lots of games and things to do, made this cabin one of the best locations we have ever stayed in. Our family felt more than at home. Even my 3 year old daughter was sad when we were leaving. She told me, Dad I don’t want to leave this place.” We hope to be back soon.
Absolutely beautiful house! Perfect weekend getaway for the moms and daughters. Would stay again.

Hello! My name is Megan and my husband and I are the proud owners of the Mountaintop Hideaway Retreat. Since our dating years, we have spent the majority of our summers camping along the shores of Idaho’s beautiful lakes and rivers in the amazing wilderness areas our state has to offer. We continued that tradition with our kids in tow – in fact, our daughter's first camping trip was when she was just three-months-old. A few years ago, we purchased a vintage camping trailer and Matt spent an entire winter rebuilding it from the inside out. While that cute little trailer has treated our family well, as our children got older, we began to dream of a place of our own - one that we could go to to get out of the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and to live our motto to "Go Slow." We also wanted a place that we could share with others as well. And we stumbled upon this glorious place, a true haven in the woods. We absolutely love to host - whether it's celebrating a wedding anniversary or a family reunion or just a family weekend getaway or girls' trip, we strive to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
