Jolene and Gary were unbelievable hosts! As a predominantly solo traveler, I love finding a place that has charm, tranquility, and most importantly safety. Their place is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they care tremendously about the stay and experience for their guests. I felt right at home and knew that if I needed anything they would be able to help! I loved my stay and hope to return soon.

The hardest part about writing this review is trying to avoid hyperbole!! We have both traveled all over the world and stayed in all manner of places from 5 star hotels to hostels to Airbnb's. This was unequivocally the most spectacular lodging experience we have ever had, start to finish. We will undoubtedly be coming back to Jolene and Gary's beautiful Villa Andalucia. The location was perfect, a short walk to everything we would want to do/see while also being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was impeccably decorated and equipped with everything we needed--the attention to detail was truly exemplary of Jolene's passion for hosting. Maria's cooking was probably the best we had on our entire trip. Eric, our surf instructor arranged by Jolene, was fantastic, patient, and had amazing energy. The saltwater pool was stunning and we got in multiple times each day. Finally, Gary's warm, thoughtful conversation made us feel as though we had been in each other's lives for years.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast, we had a lovely stay. It's located in what turned out to be our favorite neighborhood in Tamarindo. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. In fact we used our rental car only once. Maria's morning breakfast were superb. Each morning at 8:00 we enjoyed the coffee, communication and stories of others adventures. What a great memory. The decor in our room was beautiful. Rooms are cleaned daily, if you need extra beach towels just ask. We had plenty of closet space and room for all our belongings. Our room came the full kitchen, dining area, living room and full bath. It over looked the pool and patio. The pool is clean and relaxing. The air-conditioning worked very well. Gary was great at informing us beforehand about events during our stay. He also has great advice when it comes to restaurant spots. We did forget our key once and Gary was right there to let us in. I travel a lot. Jolene's place was the best experience I have ever had with an Air BnB stay. From the time I booked till checking out, they were so easy to communicate with. I arrived earlier than planned, and they could accommodate me that day. The place is so comfortable and welcoming. They treat their guests like family. Excellent breakfast each morning, with a taste of local cuisine. Their place is close to everything but enough distance for a quiet, peaceful stay. Being a solo traveler, it is a top priority for me to have a safe environment. Their place is secluded and so unique. I definitely will be booking with them again.
