The stay at Susan’s was absolutely lovely. Private, peaceful, comfortable, beautiful. Cape Ann is such a special place and her location allowed us to see so much of the area! Susan was responsive, kind and thoughtful throughout the process from booking to checkout. What a gem!

Susan's rental apt, on the 2nd story of her lovely, home was perfect. Located in a private wooded, quiet neighborhood, it had everything one needed for a happy stay. Immaculate, with top quality appliances and fixtures, it was a most pleasant place to relax, yet very accessible to all of Cape Ann's interesting sites. The Autumn colors of the area were awesome as I walked the quiet lanes near Susan's home. The luxurious towels and bed linens were all cotton and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Being October, there were a couple cool days and the heaters worked perfectly. I enjoyed every minute of my 6-night stay and highly recommend Susan's Annisquam Village Abode to you. Thank you, Susan !

We had a wonderful stay here! Truly felt like home away from home. The room was spotless clean all around. I texted Susan before we arrived and she was quick to respond and already had the room open for us which made it super convenient to carry up our bags and settle in. Any questions we had she was quick to text back which was appreciated. The home is located in a private and peaceful neighborhood in Gloucester. Not far from Rockport and downtown Gloucester which was why we decided to stay there. The apartment is secure and private with access from the back of the house up the stairs. There’s also a nice deck we were able to sit on outside at night and relax. Bathroom was clean and modern with good hot water! Bed was comfy with soft and clean sheets. Loved that there was a washer/dryer too! I have honestly have nothing bad to say, we look forward to hopefully making a trip back soon. Thank you :)

Gorgeous area! I wish I had stayed a little longer so I could have taken advantage of the beach pass and nearby walking trail. Place was quiet and very cozy, and as someone with allergies, the plethora of tissues in the unit was very much appreciated.

Rental was very clean, and had a very comfortable bed. We arrived after dark. Parking spot could use a light over it. Host was very responsive when texted. Oven is not to be used (stovetop only). This rule isn't posted in listing, but IS posted on the refrigerator. Other than that, we had a good weekend, appreciated the in-unit laundry facilities, privacy & cleanliness of the rental, and the "quiet hours" (as early risers). Also, for (us) high maintenance gals, the bathroom sink is large & there is ample space to store toiletries. We walked to the nearby lighthouse despite the stormy weather, and hiked around area .
