I have stayed in many AirBnBs and have never experienced a host as thoughtful as Mario. Many times there are essential items missing like soap, shampoo or even sufficient toilet paper. Often kitchens are inadequately equipped. Mario supplied everything needed for a comfortable, no hassle stay. Even provided soap for the bidet which no other host has provided. I heartily recommend Mario’s property for a most enjoyable visit to Acireale.

We loved the apartment, in particular the balcony and stunning view of the sea. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and eating a meal whilst taking in the magnificent vista. The local restaurants we tried were great. We also particularly loved sitting in the nearby piazza with a spritz or almond granita. Thank you Mario for being such a friendly and helpful host 😊

Mario was extremely helpful and the apartment was well stocked with cutlery, plates and cups etc as well as providing essentials like shower gel, shampoo, cooking oil, coffee. The old town with shops and restaurants was a quick walk away and Acireale is a central base for visiting Mount Etna, Taormina and Catania as well as being a charming town itself. The views of the sea from the balcony are stunning and with such an attentive host as Mario we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Super Apartment in Acireale. Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in Mario's lovely apartment. Mario is a great host and deserves a lot of praise for his manner, we really appreciated Mario's welcome and parting snacks, it was super nice, Mario was always available when we needed him - We can only recommend this beautiful apartment with the fantastic view from the 3rd floor Penthouse and the spacious rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor, a place we will definitely return to if we ever come back to that part of Sicily.

Maison sur 3 niveaux (0on monte et descend souvent les escaliers) avec une vue à couper le souffle. La communication est très simple et très directe avec Mario. Il ne faut pas avoir une trop grosse voiture pour se faufiler dans les petites rues d'Acireale. Les cloches de l'église sonnent souvent mais on s'y habitue très vite et elles ne sonnent pas la nuit (23h/6h). Il y a souvent de l'air de la mer dans la cuisine au dernier étage. L'accès a pied aux commerçants est facile. Il faut 10 minutes pour aller à la mer et 25 minutes pour remonter ( et des bons mollets). L'accès à la mer est facile avec une plateforme en bois. Il y a une douche pour se rincer. Arcireale est un bon endroit pour rayonner de Taormina à Syracuse.
