Our cottage is minutes from Topsail Island, quality grocery stores, great restaurants and a new vibrant brewery. We love our home, and want to share this location and our vacation-like amenities with our guests. Spend the day at the beach, or on one of three patios sipping margaritas. End each day with a long bath in our renovated clawfoot tub, or enjoying a homemade dinner from the full kitchen. We welcome guests from all backgrounds and walks of life! Chalet-style cottage with an upscale farmhouse feel, less than 10 minutes from local beaches that are pet-friendly with free-parking areas. **We will allow one pet with prior payment of a $50 non-refundable pet fee for up to three nights and $100 for over three nights. There is not a way to add a pet fee upfront, so after you book and have indicated that you are bringing your pet, you will be sent a request for an additional $50 or $100 based on the number of days of your stay. Please include the breed and size of your pet in your message when booking. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when in the yard and must be friendly to both other humans and animals. There is a small cottage that shares a driveway with this one that is also pet-friendly, so there is the potential for guests at that location to have a pet the same time as your stay. Please pick up after your pets in the yard.** **Please note that this is a smoke-free property, so smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. If smoke is detected after your visit, you will be charged a $400 cleaning fee.** There are three covered decks for relaxing in the breeze, as well as a fire pit and cornhole for outdoor enjoyment. The yard is fenced and pet-friendly, and guests will have full access to the detached garage to store beach equipment during your stay. Part of the outdoor area, including the is shared with the guest house cottage and may be booked by other guests during your stay. There is an outdoor shower to be shared by both the home and guesthouse guests. Up to 5 guests can be comfortably accommodated with a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and a full-size trundle with a pull-out twin bed in the guest bedroom. The master bathroom is split, with a newly renovated claw-foot tub and double-sink vanity on one side of the wall and a standing shower and separated toilet on the other side. The living room boasts a large L-shaped couch with a smart TV on which you can sign into your streaming accounts (there is no cable access) to enjoy your favorite shows or a movie with your family (don't forget to sign out of your account upon checkout). The kitchen is fully functional with a stainless steel refrigerator with a bottom freezer, stove and oven, overhead microwave, and a DISHWASHER! Dishes, bakeware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, and a coffee pot are provided to make mealtime convenient for our guests. We even provide complimentary ground coffee and filters, as well as salt, pepper, and olive oil. Clean linens, towels, and washcloths will be provided for our guests. A washer and dryer are available for guest use in the laundry room, and we do provide laundry detergent. We only ask that you remove linens from the bed and place them, along with all towels, in the laundry bin upon checkout. A folding picnic table and 6 chairs are available for outdoor seating and dining.
