What a beautiful spot! Mambo beach house is a dreamy slice of tranquility, so close to the ocean that the pounding waves lull you to sleep, perfect to get some surfing in (Barney has kit to rent), runs along the beach and just overall an amazing place to recharge. Barney was super helpful from first contact to checking out, great value room and amazing large open plan main room. Amazing place to stay, I will be back!

Staying at Sina and Barney was awesome. They are really nice , funny and they enjoy good music. The house is beautiful, near the beach and a short walk distance to the center of El Palmar. There are plenty if activities that can be done there, and Barney knows the best tips. It is a 100% recomandation! Hope to be there back soon.

Super warm welcome at Barney & Sina's place, sea right in front, perfect for catching waves, big living room with fire place, big kitchen with enough room for all your food, relax and enjoy the silence! But Barney also loves music so it will not be a dull holiday ;) also perfect if you have kids. We stayed for four days but I could stay there for the rest of my life. El Palmar has a special vibe, find out for yourself! Thanks lovely people of El Palmar, we'll be back!

Meeresluft und Sonne im Dezember! Great surf getaway for the chilly Euro-winter! Felt truly at home!   Das Mambo Beachhouse liegt 10 Schritte vom Meer entfernt, so dass man all morgentlich den guten Hauskaffee direkt am Meer genießen kann, Wellen-Check inklusive ;) Barney had a small quiver of boards to rent at the best going rates of the area! Only thing to watch out for is the fickleness of the wave. Its fast, powerful and may have your equipment for breakfast. Von Sina und Barney (die Besitzer) wird man sofort mit offenen Armen empfangen und prompt in die Familie integriert. Für einen guten Preis wird man sehr lecker bekocht (süddeutsche und englische Küche) und bekommt beste Unterhaltung garantiert gratis dazu (Barney ist ein herrlicher Entertainer (selten habe ich sowenig verstanden und soviel gelacht)). Entertaining, delicious dinners and jam sessions bring interesting, good spirited locals to the Beach House. Barney and Sina are well connected in their community and are not shy in sharing their wealth of experience in el Palmar. They also have a great feel for choosing guests, helping the house's atmosphere along!   Für kalte/regnerische Tage (während Winter) sollte man sich warme Sachen mitnehmen, da das Haus nur mit einem Ofen beheizt werden kann und es daher etwas klamm werden kann, gemütliche Dicke Sachen helfen da bestimmt ;) Genauso kann man Barney und Sina jederzeit fragen wenn man etwas braucht. Sie haben dafür immer ein offenes Ohr und stehen direkt mit einem Heizlüfter oder neuer Bettwäsche vor der Tür. Sonnentage kann man wunderbar draußen auf der Terasse des Hauses verbringen.
