This 2 bedroom unit was amazing. Had everything one could want and came with a million dollar view. Watch the sun dip in the sea right from the deck. Thoughtfully furnished. even places to hang wetsuits and towels to dry. A/C in every room, ceiling fans, or just open the windows (screened) and enjoy the breeze. The key to the success of this property is its owner and manager: Mr. Memo, who lives on site and is always available. Memo is the true heart and soul of this fantastic gem of a place. He has been so very helpful even before we arrived, answering the many questions we had. When the car ferry we booked cancelled the sailing on New Year’s Eve, Memo allowed us to use his car, a late model low mileage, beautiful sedan. We wanted to go snorkeling, Memo connected us with a top notch operator for a private tour. He helped us with so many recommendations that our stay would honestly had not been the same without Memo. No wonder many of his guests are regulars and fantastic folks.

Memo was an amazing host. He was so friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is average, but the location and the service provided by Memo make it five star. The apartment is across the road from the ocean, with beautiful sea views. The snorkelling was fantastic, you can walk across the road and into the ocean to start snorkelling, or drift down from Money Bar on the current, as suggested by Memo. We rented a car from Memo at a very reasonable rate, he dropped us off at the ferry when we were leaving, he lent us snorkelling gear free of charge, he was helpful with all our questions, gave advice regarding the ferry crossing and parking. The only negatives were the very limited hot water for showers and that no amenities were provided in the bathrooms, but these were small issues, especially when considering the level of service provided by Memo and the location of the apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment, especially if you enjoy the sea and snorkelling.

BOOK this place if you value peace-of-mind and silence. We literally opened all the windows and allowed the wind to whip through the villa all night long. The view is even better than the photos depict. Memo is extremely accommodating and enjoys making sure people have a good time during their stay in the villas. The ONLY knock on this place is that it does not have a large hot water reserve. You probably have about 5 minutes of hot water to shower with, keep that in mind. If you are fine with taking cold showers, then this place will spoil you with (1) access to great beaches, (2) bars, and (3) cheap taxis. If you come between December and February there are super friendly pensioners next door who are there and will give great advice. Lastly, this place is far away from any potential loudness downtown Cozumel may present. This really is a great place, if you can deal with not having a larger hot water heater.

Memo was great! Very responsive. We had a constant supply of filtered water which was great. The villa is in a beautiful spot. There is a bar next door and there was construction going on but it was manageable. The villa view is stunning and easy getting to and from. We got a vehicle from Memo which was very convenient. The king bed is extremely hard and I struggled with back pain most of the trip, but if you like a firm bed you are golden. Sparce, but adequately appointed (linens, bedding, kitchen, etc). Hot water ran out very quickly - we thought it was just us, but the couple next door stated they didn't have much either. Didn't bring it up to Memo because we figured it was just the way it is. (Didn't make or break our stay.) The couple that was with us stated they would rent the unit again. I probably wouldn't only because of the bed. Again Memo is a great host!
