All good, the whirlpool was certainly a huge plus and used almost every evening. Her clear and comprehensive communication really made arriving and leaving pure bliss. Just a remark - the beds were a tad too soft for our liking, but that's strictly our own preference and doesn't take anything away from the overall experience at all. 10 out of 10, cleary would book again.

What a beautiful peaceful and tranquil location. Jackie was very friendly at the same time respectful of our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Squirrel lodge and will be back again soon. The lodge was wonderful and had everything we needed, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The jacuzzi was so relaxing, private, clean and well maintained. On a clear night the starry sky was breathtaking. The sounds of the nearby forest at night were certainly intriguing. Keith being only a short drive away with a Tesco superstore was very useful, as was the Chivas distillery shop 😉.

The cabin was very peaceful and relaxing. I felt right at home and away from it all. The nights were silent apart from an owl hooting. And after a day out I enjoyed watching the cows and young calves in the field opposite. My only drawback was the narrow windy road up to the cabin. But I did get used to it and I guess it added to the feeling of being away from it all. So I wouldn’t let this put you off unless you are a very nervous driver.

Lovely cabin, very clean, quiet location and warm an cosy feel. We had a little bit of difficulty finding the cabin, as G - ogle maps took us round and round a few times. Once we changed to iPhone ‘maps’ we found the place fine. We loved our stay but felt a few little things would have enhanced our time there. A bit of ice in the freezer would have been fab, perhaps a small welcome pack would be good as nearest shop a good drive away and lastly a 9am departure time is just a teeny bit on the early side. Amazing location & Jackie is an even more amazing host. The place was as stunning as the pictures, and if you need shopping or to get food you aren't more than a 15 minute drive away from the surrounding towns. The hot tub was brilliant and really helped us relax during our stay. The place was kept hot and was extremely clean. Perfect little get away to have a break, brilliant location. The view of the stars at night whilst being in the hot tub was a brilliant experience. We shall definitely be back soon. Thank you, Jackie!
