The Villa is truly amazing, modern amenities but very much in keep with the surroundings and setting. Set on a mountain side, the view is incredible. To attain the view means you are naturally high up & so access isn’t easy. A car is absolutely necessary & a confident driver for the very small slim roads. Lourdas beach which is directly below the villa, isn’t the prettiest beach, but there are many beautiful bays to explore on this side of the island. Trapezaki & Pessada are beautiful. The host contacts were brilliant throughout our stay & responded very quickly with any requests or problems that we had & endeavoured to solve as quickly as possibly. They were very helpful and organised for some food to be waiting for us on arrival as we had a late flight. All bedding & towels were changed every 2 days with a light clean. It was a great choice for our family with a mix of children’s ages & teenagers. The yoga deck was a particular highlight for myself, stunning setting.

The Zeus Temple Villa was stunning. We had 3 couples for the week and had plenty of space with the bedrooms being spread over the villa providing good privacy as well as excellent amenities within the property. We used the BBQ pit and the pool was a dream. We could spend all day looking out over the amazing views above Lourdata. It was a 15 minute walk down to the beach (or 3 minutes in the car when being lazy). It was a 10 minute walk to the nearest mini-market. The location was superb with the most gorgeous views of the sea and beach as well as having the stunning mountain backdrop. This villa is one of the more expensive- but we felt it was worth it. We would definitely recommend a stay here- and Kefalonia is an absolute jewel. We did drives to Fiskardo, Argostoli (several times) and Sami. This is an unspoilt heavenly island.

The house is amazing, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay at such a great price. The villa really is unique. The pool is great and has amazing views out to the ocean from the hillside. All the outdoor space is wonderful with the seating, BBQ, loungers and balcony areas. Three of the four bedrooms have pool/sea views and the house was cleaned every two days by the visiting cleaners. The only thing that is a bit of a negative is the two upstairs bedrooms have really bad water pressure in the evening, potentially because the gardens are being watered. Would highly recommend staying here.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the villa. We stayed in the last week of October and it was a completely memorable holiday. We were three generations with three teenagers, sister-in-law and an older grandparent! The place suited everyone perfectly. Plenty of space to enjoy time by yourself, or fabulous large communal spaces to all come together. We especially liked the outdoor kitchen which light up at night created the perfect meal time area. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need, all kitchen appliances to cook for large groups, toiletries, towels and a very much needed welcome hamper (we arrived at almost midnight, so to discover provisions of drink and food for everyone was a lovely surprise). When you arrive at the villa you are met by the beautifully planted front garden, an absolute delight. There are a few steps down to the villa, which thankfully the elder member of our group was able to manage. As the door opens to the view of the pool and onto the sea, it is quite stunning. There are two twin bedrooms downstairs, each with an ensuite, plus an additional downstairs toilet. There is the large atrium with dining table, spacious well equipped kitchen and living room, plus the outside kitchen and dining area (bbq and pizza oven). There are seating areas around the pool in the shade as well as the additional gym and yoga areas. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with the glass cubed ensuites, that have frosted glass panels to aid privacy. The view from the bathroom to the garden and mountains is beautiful, as is having a shower as the sunsets to the front and watching the sky change across the horizon. The villa is very well maintained with the cleaners and pool person coming regularly. We had friends staying in a nearby villa (although they will rent this one next time!) and together we were able to explore Kefalonia. There is a bakery and mini market nearby, could be walked to, as well as nearby Lourdas Beach and the restaurants – but a car is preferable to really get out and about and see the island, especially if you have someone with mobility issues with you as we did. We absolutely loved the stunning costal path to Assos where we stopped for lunch before heading to Fiskardo and then swimming at Paralia Emplysi beach. We enjoyed a couple of meals in Argostoli and were very lucky to see a few giant sea turtles near the fruit and vegetable market, which was a highlight of the holiday for all of us! After a visit to Castle of Agios Georgios we also travelled across the island to Sami and it was great to experience the mountain views. A favourite place for us was a little beach called Pesada, now this is down steep steps so was not appropriate for all our group, but for those of us who love to snorkel it was so worth the trip as the sea was so clear with white sand and one time we had it all to ourselves. We had a wonderful time staying at this villa and would highly recommend it and we would hope to visit again in the future. We have stayed at many places over the years with friends and as a family, and this would definitely rate at the top of the list so far.
