I made a reservation two years in advance, to ensure I had a place to watch the eclipse (Carlton's cabin was in the path of totality). About a year before, Carlton texted me on my phone, not through Airbnb, that his cabin was double-booked and could he talk to me about it? I contacted Airbnb and they instructed me to have Carlton contact them directly, which I did. He responded with a "thumbs up". A few months later he contacted me again by phone, not through Airbnb. We spoke and he told me the same thing, seemingly unaware that we'd texted before. I told him again (as instructed) he should contact Airbnb to work out any schedule problems. He did not work anything out. I flew from CA to OK and arrived at the cabin to find another couple already occupying the place. I called Carlton. Via messages, his response was essentially, "I told you it was double-booked." We had to find another place and pay a lot more. He refunded me for his place but nearly ruined my eclipse vacation.

We absolutely loved staying at Carlton’s Wildwood honeymoon cabin!! We’ve stayed there twice now and it is wonderful! It’s close enough to anything you might need, but tucked away in the woods for a serene and peaceful stay! Very clean and comfortable! Love the hot tub and the cabin is very nice!

We had a great couple of days. The place had a nice little creek that you can walk to. It really felt secluded even though there was a property right next door. The hot tub was easy to get in and out of since it was recessed into the deck. I would definitely stay here again!

It was amazing we went out to the hot tub and got to see deers walking in the woods. It real close to a real fun maze and mini golf course. I love the privacy and quietness.
