5 guest and I stood at Giuseppe’s place for one night. ONE NIGHT ENOUGH. As we was greeted by the host he told us there was no WiFi (part of the amenities). As soon as he left we turned on the AC the power shut off (part of the amenities). I immediately messaged him and he told us “Because in Italy there is a power limit.” “...different in USA...Italians got used to it..sorry it don’t depend on us” Ok we said. We will only put 1 of the 3 AC on Not using any other power in the house; thinking to myself this might just work. Power shuts off again and the emergency lights go on. Not using any AC, Power kept shutting off. Not even joking we flipped the power switch +15 times. The place is located on hotel property and we went to their front desk thinking it’s the area and the hotel had no problems with their power. When it was bedtime the emergency lights will go on where it was located in the living room where I had 2 of my guest trying to sleep there. I messaged the host telling him how unhappy we were and it was extremely uncomfortable. He than rushed to our place and seen it for himself. “...it’s late now... nothing we could do...” I definitely got the vibe that he was aware of the situation before we got there but since we stood for only one night he probably think we would be able to manage. And he just wanted the +$330 stay. DEFINITELY A NIGHTMARE

Nice, spacious, modern apartment in small holiday resort. Beaches are at 5 min driving distance and the town is at 10 min walking distance. The resort has a swimming pool with bar which was expensive to access, until the host arranged something for us.

L’appartement est très bien situé, propre, fonctionnel, moderne et spacieux. Il est dans une résidence bien entretenue avec un parking. Toutefois, le logement n’était pas prêt à notre arrivée (nous avons du attendre 1h dehors). De plus, la piscine mentionnée dans l’annonce coûte 15€ par personne et une des climatisations ne fonctionnait pas bien.

Great location, beautiful view and a nice backyard garden with chairs and outdoor lightning. Good food in their restaurant.

We booked and paid for an apartment that was sold as a luxury apartment with pool, garden and WiFi in Tropea. With great surprise we got a standard small apartment with low-cost furniture and a slow Wi-Fi connection (the router is located in the neighboring apartment with access only in the area of the entrance of the apartment). Mushrooms have grown in the garden! The pool is not part of the apartment, but to the resort COOEE and access is only for a fee (€ 15.00 / per day / person). According to the description, the apartment is 400 meters from the city center, unfortunately we were not able to go the distance because there is no trottoir and the street is not lit (during the day it is 15 minutes on foot). During our 14-day stay we saw the owner exactly 1 minute (last day to hand over the key) so I cannot rate him.
