The cottage on Sycamore was cute and clean and filled with a lot of the original architectural charm of Old Town Bay St. Louis.
This home was just as darling as expected. We stayed in Bay Saint Louis for a long weekend with our dog and walked to the beach, restaurants, shops and park. We love it here and would recommend this home to our friends and family.
Sycamore street cottage was indeed the charmer, a place I imaged Anne Shirley taking residency in. We loved everything about this home and the quiet walks to the beach. Thanks for the delightful get away. Christianna, Nicholas and Iggy
Love the old feel charm and decor. I felt like we were in old time BSL. The walk to the beach and is quick! Town amenities are spread out all over and even some in walking distance. If you love the sound of trains rumbling and whistling as they go through town that is a treat, making for an even more nostalgic feel to the place. Easily provides privacy for two couples as it is a split plan. Sharing the restroom is made easy with doors and curtain. I’d suggest trying to find some old shutters to put between the sink and toilet areas. I hope to return within the next year.

We moved to Louisiana in the eighties to attend LSU. We fell in love with the Southern culture, warm climate, and friendly people. For decades we have been drawn to the beauty, wildlife, and slower pace of life on the Gulf coast--especially the small towns and beaches of Mississippi. This led us to buy this charming cottage in Bay St. Louis, close to the beach…and we look forward to sharing it with our visitors from AIRBNB! We have traveled from Maine to California, central America, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico. And we experienced a few countries in Europe, with Italy our all-time favorite. The pace of life, the outdoor restaurants, the friendly people, the way they take time to slow down and enjoy life make it a wonderful place to visit. We have found that lodgings with comfortable beds and linens, a well-equipped kitchen, and tastefully decorated rooms add to the enjoyment of travel. Our aim is to provide this level of comfort to our guests.
