Fantastic home with gorgeous views! Quiet area a short distance from town with dream like views. Perfect place to rest and relax or enjoy all Russell has to offer!
Unforgettable location. We loved it here and would return in a heartbeat. The house makes great use of the views and has everything you could need. The sauna with a view of the bay was amazing. Truly would recommend without hesitation, but the house itself is getting pretty dated if that’s something which matters to you.
Das Haus ist toll gelegen, der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Meer umwerfend. Russell ist sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar, einfach Jims Walkway folgen und die Natur sowie die Vogelwelt genießen. Russell ist in der Vorsaison total entspannt, trotzdem gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Geschäften und guten Restaurants, der Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse des Duke of Marlborough ist phantastisch. Ideal für einen Aufenthalt von zwei Wochen, danach werden allerdings die Fahrten zu entfernteren Ausflugszielen zeitraubend. Toll ist die Nähe vom Haus zum Tapeka Point Outlook, mit ein bisschen Glück kann man hier Bottlenose Dolphins sehen.
Had a wonderful Easter break at the villa, spotlessly clean and with facilities exactly as described. The crashing waves below and the views were just beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, highly recommended and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for having us!

I am the property manager for Villa du Fresne and your local contact. My family and I have lived in Russell for the past 10 years. We love the community and the beautiful area we live in. I firmly believe when travelling that you truly get to know and appreciate a place so much more when you can stay and experience life like a local. Because of this I love the opportunities that Airbnb can provide for both myself and those staying in the houses I look after. I take care of several properties in the area and get great enjoyment from meeting new people from all over the world and sharing in their experiences of our beautiful area. As a family we love to get outside as much as possible. Whether its pottering around home in our garden, heading out to the beach or getting out on the water for some fishing.
