The place was lovely for a short term stay. It’s a very short walk from 2 tube stations and within close proximity to a shopping centre. Esther was very welcoming and was easy to talk to.

This Airbnb is conveniently located between two stations so it is easy to get to central London and there are some nice wetlands trails to explore nearby. But I can't recommend staying more than a few days since there is no vacuum, broom, or mop for cleaning. If you chose to stay here, you will want to bring knives for cutting food and cooking utensils. When I arrived, there were no cooking utensils, only silverware for eating and serving. I was surprised that the refrigerator had no freezer section. There were no hangers in the wardrobe and an insufficient number of clothes pegs (7) for the clothes line. There was a nice dresser with plenty of room so it would be possible to unpack most of your things in there. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The hostess did allow for an early check in on request.

Esther is a great host, for London standards the location and the price was perfect.

Esther is just the best host you could wish to have. Very kind, friendly and thoughtful. Always there if you need her but if not she leaves you to your own devices. I couldn’t have wished to find a kinder host/ lovely property to rent in London. JUST PERFECT. THANK YOU Graham.

I rented the room for 3.5 months and the host obviously does not have the qualities that airbnb hosts generally have and unfortunately comes lowest on the scale. I soon experienced that the host could not be relied on in important matters and that she would not follow through with what she said. I therefore soon withdrew and never asked for anything unless I had to, waiting for the booking period to finish and to move to a better booking. In addition the property is also only for individuals who do not intend to be in a relationship. Even though it is long term rental the host demanded payment on the rare occasions my partner came over. Which means one is paying triple rent: oneself and ones partner paying separate rent and then when you are together you pay the third rent.
