Really comfortable stay! We were able to spread out and cook some light meals. Georgetown is pretty and fun to walk around. It is not walkable to the metro but we took buses to the metro on several occasions or took an Uber to do monument sightseeing and museums. Overall a great stay!

The only good thing about this place is the location which is walkable to the main Georgetown shopping area. Other than that, I’d recommend you keep looking. The place had a noticeable smell that remained during our stay despite trying to air it out by opening windows. Additionally, the space was dusty and needed a good cleaning. Power outlet behind the couch was non-functional. The duvet on the bed was filthy and required us to wash it before using. The owner also tried to take advantage of me having my dogs with me by accusing my pets of a stain on the already filthy couch cover…she requested reimbursement of $1200. Yes, you read that right…$1200 for a couch cover. Finally, prior to arriving, the owner attempted multiple times to get us to change our rental to a different unit and book outside of Airbnb. Now, I understand why. Thank goodness we refused! Beware DC Airbnb’ers!!!!
