this was a nightmare! we booked this place 2 and a half months before we were suppose to say. I got reminder email the week before about our stay in David's place. I texted him and asked about the check in procedures the day we were suppose to stay. He then informs me that something happened and somebody else was staying there and we no longer had a place to stay. David then proceeds to lie, and tells us that he told us about this earlier when our booking was still active but there were no messages, emails, or calls from him. he made no effort to communicate the issue to us before the day we were suppose to check in, and did not even know the place was double booked until we asked him a question about checkin. he is unprofessional and unreliable. we shouldn't have to do his job and monitor his bookings for him. airbnb fortunately compensated us for another lodge because of this situation. save yourself the trouble and headache and find a host who is more reliable.

The location is perfect for visiting Hidden Valley/Seven Springs and the accommodations are as advertised.

The house is beautiful. Loved the living room area, it was nice and cozy. The only thing I missed was a heater in the sun room. The sun room is so beautiful, would have loved to spend more time in that room, but it's little cold to enjoy the view for a long time in winter. Expect that I highly recommend this place. One quick information, when you are about half a mile away from the house, the navigation asks to make a left (if you are coming from west like MI, OH) to Bridge Street. There is no sign/board and the road is little narrow to find. So keep your eyes open.

The road off the highway into the development is gravel, bordered by ditches, and unmarked. It is very difficult to navigate after dark, and a hazardous turn when the speed limit is 55, and you are searching for the road. Heat is not central forced air, kept at a constant temperature throughout. Baseboard heat, and 2 wall units in the common areas supply heat to the unit. Be prepared to wait for the place to warm up after you arrive when it’s cold.
