First the good 1) the suites are large and spacious. 2) the view was decent though not ocean front 3) fountainbleu amenities, pools and restaurant Now the bad 1) the suite was downright dirty. The floors were not vacuumed, some kitchen utensils were unwashed — we went out and bought flip flops 2) the suite smelled of bleach — worse than a swimming pool — we had to go buy room spray to fight the stench 3) bad light bulbs, broken switches on lamps (imagine having to reach behind your end table to yank out the plug every time you have to turn off your bedside lamp 4) one of the toilets didn’t flush — the hotel addressed it but we were still nervous using it 5) only one (out of of four) elevator working — so had to wait in line several times especially during peak hours

We really enjoyed staying in this unit at the FB. It was perfect because it allowed us to all stay together and we had exactly what we needed for the perfect weekend. It was also super easy because you're treated exactly like a hotel guest making check-in, check-out and all communication really smooth. It is expensive, but it's the FB and Miami so that's to be expected. Cleaning fees were an extra $50 a day for the larger room and $40 a day for the smaller room, which made check out and extra costs more expensive. My only note for those looking to book is that the pull out couch mattress was so incredibly uncomfortable that the 4 people sleeping on them had to order cots each night, which ended up costing us an extra 180+ dollars for 2 nights. I thought it they may be being dramatic at first, but I felt the couch mattress and it felt like you were sleeping on a metal bench - so if possible, bring some extra padding for that. Other than that, it was awesome and the view is amazing!

They were great hosts who were quick to respond and very helpful. The Fontainebleau itself was also immensely helpful. They were very pleasant and helpful every time I called with questions. They received several packages for us and held them until our arrival, then delivered them to our room upon arrival. Can’t recommend more highly.
