We had an amazing stay at Sarah’s ocean side cottage. The view was amazing. The cottage was open and bright and roomy for our family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Would be happy to stay here again. Lucie and Al

Our group absolutely loved family camp! Not only did the home have everything we needed but the property had more than we could have dreamed of. From watching the tide come in over the island, to watching the sunset, to taking walks and exploring the rocky coast. Thank you so much for hosting our families!

This cabin is charming with an exquisite view of the ocean in a secluded/private area. It brought me joy just watching the tidal changes on Merman’s Landing. The location is on the quieter side of MDI so expect 20-30 min travel time to get to touristy areas, restaurants, and/or groceries. The home is a mixture of new and old with an open concept main area that is bright and airy. It’s clean, functional, well-maintained, and has all the amenities to accommodate a family. The kitchen is well equipped. The only heat source is by way of a propane stove in the common area so come prepared if you are visiting during colder weather. The L shaped sectional is big and comfy enough to sleep 2 if it’s too chilly in the bedrooms located on the other side of the house. Overall, this is a wonderful home with character where you can relax, slow down, and enjoy nature.

The view was beautiful…in a cove on the Atlantic. Secluded. and very rustic. If you are looking for modern….this is not for you. The beds were FIRM. There was no heat in the bedrooms/bath that are away from the main living area so if you are going when it is cold…it will be cold in those rooms. The view & seclusion made up for this. Our group gave it a 10/10.

We are repeat renters at Karina’s family property on MDI. From watching the stunning sunsets at night, to all the hiking, biking, and kayaking one could ever want within 30 mins- this quiet-side home truly has it all. House has everything a renter could want- well stocked kitchen, ample linens, and cozy living area with a propane stove to get the chill out of the air on fall morning. We look forward to this trip every year and cannot wait to return.
