Another wonderful stay at Kate’s cottage. The cottage has all the amenities you need for an extended stay and the setting is beautiful. We took advantage of the quiet lake and the cottage’s proximity to Wakefield. We can’t wait to stay there again next summer!

I enjoyed the location. The cottage is very private but at the same time close enough to Ottawa and Wakefield. Also, the hiking trails are not too far. The cottage is spotless clean. I like swimming and the access to the lake was appreciated. I could visit the cottage any time again.

I had a terrific time staying at Kate’s place. The house was very clean and had everything you needed for a nice relaxing stay. It was nice to sit out every night under the screened in porch and listen to the nature. There was a nice dock for relaxing by the water.

We stayed at Kate's place for 7 weeks while our new house was being completed. It is in a beautiful location with nice views, incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed a nice walk around the lake almost every day. The house is lovely and very warm, even on a coldest day. The only problem we had was to decide whether to stay in the loft or be by the fireplace downstairs... both areas are super warm, bright and inviting. Perfect for a family or a group of 4 people. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer, with the lake so close by. There is everything you need in the house, from candles, extra bottles of soap, ketchup etc. and Kate is the best host we have encountered so far. Always available, friendly, never annoyed with my many questions and really quick to offer a solution. We would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful stay at Kate’s cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a long term stay and its proximity to Wakefield is extremely convenient. The lake is lovely and quiet. As ever, Kate is great at communicating and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!
