My family & myself love ALL people and we support diversity! We have hosted people from S.Korea to Australia, LGBTQ to Hasidic Jews and I love them all! I am a artist, mother of three adult daughters and foodie! I credit my daughters for introducing me to vegan food, Korean food, wine and an artist social life. My go to foods have always been steak, BBQ and breakfast (I have tons of recommendations)! My guilty pleasures are watching Korean Dramas, Anime, Walking Dead, Bold & The Beautiful, and Scandal. Oh and I'm forever redesigning my properties! I'm a person that loves to put my best foot forward and my vacation properties in Louisville & Harlan, KY are no exception. I (and family) take pride in our properties and we are responsive to our guests needs in intuitive ways. Since we are avid vacationers ourselves, we know what it takes to make every vacation a holiday. In a small town like Harlan we love to make you feel safe and welcome! I assure you that there is no other property that can compare to my four Harlan guesthouses. As my grandmother would say “Good better best never let it rest until your good is better and your better is the best!” All of our properties (in Louisville & Harlan Ky.) are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home! Floydwood my Louisville guesthouse, with 4 private guest-condos, fully-furnished and fully-equipped home away from home. Floydwood is within a 3.5 mile radius to all the Derby fun. Vela's Villa (in Harlan) is a private little neighborhood within a neighborhood--a group of houses sharing the same lot, located a block away from historic Harlan, Kentucky's downtown. Nestled in a valley in the ancient and enchanted Appalachian Mountains, we provide guests with fully-furnished and fully-equipped homes away from home.
