Nelson’s place was incredibly homey and clean. Perfect location and looked exactly like the photos . Definitely will stay again if in the area.

Great location with quick and easy access to the heart of Raleigh. Building itself is a little dated and could use some renovations. However, the host more than makes up for it and is incredibly quick and responsive. My only gripes is with the neighbors who were extremely loud and noisy at times. Second hand smoke seemed to creep in time to time through the bathroom ventilation as well.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Nelson’s listing! He was very prompt in answering my questions. It had everything that we needed, we felt right at home and really enjoyed sitting out on the covered balcony overlooking beautiful trees and pond/small lake. ALL of the furniture was comfortable as well as the bed. Plenty of towels ,wash rags, kitchen pots,pans and utensils. Thank you for a great stay!

Nelson was a great host. He realized I mentioned a bubble bath in our introductory message, and knew some had struggled with the amount of hot water, so he gave me a heads up the day of check-in and set out a large stock pot to boil water in. I appreciated the proactive approach. We spent two nights, but were in town for a film festival, so the majority of the time we were out of the apartment. The only major issues were the cleanliness of the couch throw pillows, the geese in the early morning (not controllable) and the light coming through the bedroom curtains at night. I’d bring earplugs and an eye mask next time, and totally stay again. Slight weed smell every time we walked in, but we acclimated to it quickly; pretty sure it was coming from a neighbor. The bath I took was nice, the TV was a good, couch was comfy, kitchen was well equipped though we didn’t need it, only noticed coffee missing. Bring slippers/socks, paint comes off cement. Laundry in unit! Parking was close/easy.
