Hi. We are Jan and Ian and we are your Airbnb hosts. We started doing Airbnb in 2015 when we were unexpectedly left with the space of a whole ground floor Annexe and wondered what we were going to do with it. We havent looked back since because thanks to Airbnb we have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic and interesting people from all over the world. There could be many reasons for coming to Lincolnshire and we have been surprised by the variety of things our guests have visited for. This includes weddings, graduations, conferences,tracing ancestors, work and visiting family members. We are 10 minutes away from RAF Cranwell, where the officer graduations take place but also, Lincolnshire is really an RAF hub. We also now have here, the new bomber command centre which is an absolute must for a visit. It is so well done out and really brings home the story of our brave service men and women and at RAF Conningsby they do the Battle of Britain memorial flight which visitors are able to book to see. Also, in Lincoln City itself, we have the beautiful focal point of Lincoln Cathedral and the Castle. On the East coast we have the very popular beach resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Ingoldmells. My family consists of my husband and 3 sons, 3 dogs and a cat called Stimpy. We love meeting people from all walks of life. What we love most about Airbnb is you, the guests. We dont run it as a business and we're not packed with guests week in and week out but when we do have a guest we like to make them feel they are part of the family. We are a close family and all have our own interests and hobbies but enjoy the time we have together although those times are becoming less as the boys get older. Although we are an animal loving family, we are also mindful that not everybody feels the same so we are happy to accommodate that. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests animals due to a previous bad experience.Weekends are usually spent with a takeaway and movies and are happy for any guests to join us if they would like to....WE DO NOT CHARGE ANY EXTRA PRICES FOR CLEANING ETC BUT UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE STATE OF THE UK, WE ARE UNABLE TO FACILITATE THE CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES.
