Wir haben eine Woche im El Sosiego verbracht und haben es sehr genossen. Jeden Abend haben wir zunächst auf dem Balkon und anschließend vor dem Kamin verbracht. Es war wunderschön urig und sehr gemütlich. Dirk und Ilka sind fantastische Gastgeber, die sich angenehm zurückziehen, zwischendurch aber jederzeit zu einem hilfsbereiten oder unterhaltsamen Plausch bereit sind. Hauptsächlich haben wir die Zeit am oder im Haus verbracht wegen Homepffice. Es wurde nicht langweilig und durch die vielen Zimmer hatte jeder von uns beiden seinen Platz. Zwischendurch sind wir immer mal wieder mit dem Auto in das in 5min entfernte Santa Brígida gefahren, um einzukaufen, essen oder spazieren zu gehen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

This authentic Canarian house has the charm and the inconveniences of an centuries old building. The wood fittings are beautiful but the rooms are small and the house is poorly insulated. Ilka and her husband tried their best to make us feel at home. They sold us a basket of wood for the fireplace (10 euros), but although we managed to heat up the living room, the rest of the house was cold. To be fair, it was an exceptionally cold week in February, but after a couple of days of trying to make it work, we rented a place on the coast where we would at least be warm. We are senior citizens and used to central heating, so unfortunately it was not a good fit for us.

Wir haben uns bei Ilka im El Sosiego wie zuhause gefühlt! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Gegend um Santa Brigida hat uns sehr gut gefallen, ist sie doch besonders grün und üppig. In nur 25 Minuten waren wir am Strand in Canteras/Las Palmas, wo man auch im Januar gut baden gehen kann und auch sonst sind fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten auf Gran Canaria innerhalb von 30 - 60 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben Ilka und ihren Mann Dirk in unser Herz geschlossen!

I recently stayed at this beautiful house on Airbnb and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The house was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook delicious meals during our stay. The balcony was a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. The location of the house was also great, 20 minutes by car to Los palmas. We were able to easily explore the city and come back to the house for a restful night's sleep. Ilka and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating to all our queries. I appreciate the smoothness of communication. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and very easy. Overall, I couldn't recommend this house more highly. It was the perfect place for our group to relax and enjoy our time together. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! It was an amazing experience
