Ian was very helpful in setting rooms as required and responded to queries quickly. The place was beautiful and we had a lovely weekend wished it would’ve been a longer stay. Would definitely book again

We had a wonderful long weekend at the church, more than enough space for my big family plus a couple dogs. Ian is a great host! We’re all already thinking about returning next year!!

The contrast between the "historical" exterior and the modern and well equipped interior provided Ian's place with great character! The large and open interior space, together with the provided amenities (including a full size snooker table) made the only factor out of Ian's control - the weather - manageable. The only reason for not giving 5 stars all over was the fact that some of the kitchen equipment (eg. baking trays) had to be washed before use. However, everything else was spotless. Thank you Ian for your warm welcome and the very nice stay.

Everything great, enjoyed the snooker table. The only reason I didn't give an excellent overall rating is that the dishwasher wasn't working during our trip. Unfortunately the dishwasher was an integrated unit so not easily repaired. However Ian was planning to repair the dishwasher as we left.
