Perfect place to stay if you are looking for an authentic and adventurous stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Fall asleep listening to the sounds of a babbling brook and watching the stars
First off the actual surroundings of this place is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful and I think had we stayed in one of the other tents we wouldn't have had the problems we had. Rod is also super nice and answered my questions promptly. The bad is it was full of mice droppings in every drawer and all over the pull out table, breathing the dust of rodent feces is very bad for you and unavoidable if you close the door in there. The other issue we had was the amount of dead moths all on the bed (probably 50) which my husband dealt with by shaking everything out outside for us. Once it got dark outside we heard what sounded like birds taking off in the wagon as we were laying there, I'm not joking 100s of moths were suddenly in there the ceiling was black with them we tried to get them all out but more kept appearing and they are large and will try and get in your face and try to get in your mouth etc. We finally gave up and slept in our car we left very early in the morning
If you want a slice of humble and true Wyoming, look no further! We stayed in the teepee, during the colder season, and were surprised to be provided super heavy duty sleeping bags, which saved our bacon! You are truly living in the outdoors, but that’s the beauty of the adventure! Braving the cold meant we were greeted with breathtaking views of the Foretops Father Mountain, and surrounding hills and plains. The cowboy breakfast was a perfect start to our day, and led to some fun conversations! Rod was an attentive and witty host filled with stories and history of Wyoming and the surrounding areas. We will be staying here again, and cannot wait to come back!
Basic and rough accomodation. It is not a romantic hideaway, but a quite place in a peacefull area.
Thank you for experience and nice night. Bubbling brook next to camp site was perfect after a long day. Campfire was great with other friendly Campers.
