We loved it! Funky, retro - but very clean and with enough contemporary decor including linens and bedding. A unique indoor 'firepit' which we loved; enough space not to be crowded. Lots of windows with views of the back yard. The yard... was AMAZING. Our large pup Carli loved running around the back yard, we loved that it was enclosed so we could let her run without worry. Nice patio with BBQ - that, though it was raining, we could still use. The guest-house was near the owners home, but we had our own space and privacy and never felt intruded upon. Close to San Diego - less than 45 minutes but such a lovely retreat. We'll be back for sure! Thank you!

This place is magical. We had a great experience and highly recommend staying here. The large windows throughout the home make you feel like you are one with nature. Waking up to beautiful views was my favorite part. This house is one of a kind. It’s clean and great for kids and pets. We hope to stay here again.

Very comfortable lodgings in a beautiful forest of mature oaks, pines, and manzanita. We hope to stay here again!

what a wonderful getaway! Everything you need is there and easy to use. the shower may not look like much but it was wonderful! will definitely return

Doris and Odd were more than accommodating with us and our pups. Everything was nice and clean and easily accessible. Plus our pups were allowed to run around outside with no issues :) They were sooooo happy, probably happier than us ;) Overall a peaceful place to stay for a quick weekend getaway. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it for our 5 year anniversary. Would stay here again
