What a wonderful experience! Maria is a fantastic and friendly host and was very helpful and thoughtful. On arrival we got list amongst the mountains - Maria drive out to find us and lead us back up to the mountains to her beautiful cottage. We had the most lovely 5 days surrounded by beauty, nature and comfort. It was clean, comfortable, pretty and Maria had kindly left a few essentials for the next day! She showed us how to make the most delicious Italian coffee, and left us a bottle of her own wine to indulge in on the first night! It was my husbands and I first wedding anniversary and it was one we will never forget. The cottage was perfect, and we thoroughly r joyed staying in Londa, a small village, and travelling around to Florence and nearby towns such as Lucca. Maria was the perfect host and we are very thankful for the experience and the new memories it has created...

Ein schönes Cottage in völliger Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit, um dem Alltagsstress zu entkommen und zu entspannen. Bei einigen Bewertungen wurden für die Fahrt zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 10 min angegeben. Bei diesem Weg von und nach Vierle besser 20 min einplanen. Der Weg ist doch recht abenteuerlich.

Wonderful place in very relaxing atmosphere. The unit is in a 16th century former farm house which has been tastefully restored and is very comfortable to live in. The place is very clean and relaxing, the pool is well taken care of and lies in an olive grove with great views over the landscape. The nearest town (Londa) is about 4.5km away on a paved but narrow road. We also walked into town once on a footpath (about 1hr each way). Marialuisa is very friendly and helpful; she also gave us a great tour of the family owned olive mill in Londa, which is still in use and is over 200 years old. The wireles works well for email and reading news. Most relaxing holiday ever! Bring many books!

It was a verry nice stay at Marias house. We enjoyed the time at the terrasse and the pool. Perfect to relax and Maria was everytime available.

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and nice. We loved the private garden with its beautiful view. The pool was great for a quick refreshment or a lazy afternoon, also with a great view. It's a 10-minutes-drive to Londa, which is a sweet little town where you can buy groceries. Maria Luisa was very nice. She welcomed us with a bottle of her wine, was easy to communicate with and always available for questions. I can absolutely recommend the place.
