The cabin was very good and the location is excellent. The only issue we had was that the main door would not lock. We contacted Cindy but no one came to check or fix the door throughout our stay.

Pros: The guest cabin was very cute, and had just about everything you could need. It was definitely on the rustic side, but not without the utmost comfort. The location was very good, and the water felt quite clean. Cindy was also kind enough to allow us to arrive a little early to enjoy the good weather. Cons: We had some unfortunate privacy and safety concerns during our stay. Although we knew that we would likely be sharing the beach space with Cindy’s family, as they are right next door, we were not informed that our hosts would be inviting eight families to their property during the only full day of our stay. The beach and sitting area that we were supposed to have access to were completely overtaken by adults and many children, which was greatly concerning considering the ongoing COVID pandemic. We felt unsafe approaching this area while so many people were there and so we were largely confined to the cabin and the picnic table just below the cabin for the majority of the day. Had we know this was the case, we likely would not have booked this cabin, as we intended to have a relaxing “staycation”.

The cabin is a perfect getaway in a very quite and peaceful area.

The place is beautiful. Perfect for swimming and water fun. Cindy was very generous with the use of her property and equipment.
