Communication with Rajeev and Casey before our arrival was very easy and they responded promptly. We felt very welcome in their home. The house is a bit out of town which meant the neighbourhood was silent throughout the night. No horns! :) Great view over the water from their place.

My gf Emma and I stayed with Rajeev in Cochin while Casey was out, as well as at the tea estate in Tamil Nadu. Rajeev was so incredibly kind and a fantastic host. We felt treated like great friends and family right away. It was nice to see the sights of Cochin, a day trip he helped us setup on the backwaters of Kerala, and the trip out to the tea estate and rain forrest. We even had breakfast at Rajeev's mom's house, so wonderful. Thank you kindly for such a great host and home, would love to host you in California.

Our stay in Cochin was made very pleasant and easy due to our hosts! Unfortunately Casey was out the country but her partner Rajeev was there to meet us and to say he went above and beyond is an understatement! He was extremely welcoming with a cold Ice Tea which after a 25hr train journey was idyllic. He was more than helpful, even transporting us around on occasions and we eat a lovely meal together whilst gaining his knowledge of not only the local area but India! Although the property was a distance from 'Fort Cochin', the buses run from just outside the property every few minutes, they are also extremely cheap so it didn't make any difference of the location. We couldn't fault the property or location and the hosts were second to none-extremely accommodating!! Thanks Rajeev!!

One can say that an Airbnb host can make you feel right at home, but this actually would be an understatement from my experience. Simply put, Casey and I hail from the same hometown. I didn't need to adapt to Indian customs or alter my behavior in any way (I say this as I am originally also from Kerala). So I assure you that would also be the case if you decide to visit them in Cochin. Rajeev and Casey literally took me under their wings and made exploring Cochin for the first time a breeze. It's just sad that Casey left to Holland for an assignment and won't be back in India for a few months. Having Rajeev all for yourself would make this visit more pleasant. Part of the advantage of meeting Rajeev would be learning yoga from a knowledgeable practitioner. He stays in excellent shape due to his daily routine. He should get you back in shape in no time, so make sure you book for at least a couple days. Conversations with Rajeev changed my outlook on a lot of topics. Eat. Pray. Love.

All I can say is WOW! I wished every airbnb host were like them. During my visit in Kerala I stayed here for 2 days at their gorgeous backwaters home. Both of them were in constant contact with me regarding my arrival. They picked me up from the bus stop which was so nice of them and dropped me around the kochin area. The house is amazing, the room is very spacious good enough for 4 people and american style bathrooms which is a plus. The backyard is huge and literally has the most amazing view of the backwaters I woke up just to catch the sunrise. They do have a huge dog name ginger becareful always like to play frisbee but super friendly. I would highly recommend staying here for any period of time if you're in the Cochin area! Both Rajeev and Casey are the best host I've come across and I've used aairbnb about 60 times. Only cons: Internet is through a doggle which is a USB port not compatible with some computers but they lend me their computer. If you need constant wifi this might be an issue. Also no hot water, I was perfectly fine bathing in cold water esp kerala being so hot but Casey offered to heat up a buckle. :)
