We had a delightful stay in Cecilia's large and quietly located house. Montalcino is a delightful area and easily reached in a few minutes by car. Cecilia met us at a central location and guided us to the house, which was very much appreciated. We travelled to various places of interest around us and really enjoyed exploring the villages and towns in the area, and then sampling the wine and food in the evening. Occasionally it was nice to just enjoy the comfort and peace and quiet of the location.

My family and I booked Cecilia’s place for a week. It was such a wonderful arrival! Not only were we blessed by gorgeous weather, everything about the house and Montalcino was incredible! Cecilia met us at a nearby cafe to show us the way to the property, which we appreciated greatly. A small drive along the edge of a beautiful hill led us to the property and we couldn’t believe our eyes. The view on the faraway hills and next door vineyards and olive tree fields really set the scene. The property is a short stroll away to a family-run biodynamic winery which has amazing wine, honey and olive oil. A must visit! We loved:seeing bees peacefully buzzing around the flower bushes during the day, the fireflies at night, the house’s many nooks to relax and read books, the morning sun on the outdoor table, the afternoon breathe, the neighbours riding their horse past the house, the hot springs in the region. We highly recommend to nature lovers who want to discover Tuscany!

Beautiful setting - the property was lovely with amazing views. The house was spacious and comfortable. Cecilia was very responsive to all communication before and during the stay. We can't wait to come back - it felt like home!

Wir hatten das Haus für 6 Erwachsene, 1 Kind (5 Jahre) und einen Hund gebucht. Auch wenn sich die Gruppe krankheitsbedingt um 2 Erwachsene reduzierte - es wäre genug Raum für Alle gewesen. Der Garten bietet Kindern viel Freiraum und spannende Ecken. Das charmante, toskanische Haus in traditioneller Bauweise verfügt über einen großzügigen Wohn-Essbereich mit grandiosem Blick über das Tal. Da dieser Raum vollständig verglast und dadurch sehr hell und gemütlich ist, eignet sich das Haus auch für einen Besuch in kühleren Monaten. Dazu passt der hübsche Holzofen, der an kühlen Abenden eine wohlige Wärme verbreitet. Auf der Terrasse lässt es sich herrlich in der Morgensonne frühstücken und der angrenzende Olivenhain lädt zu einem Spaziergang ein. Das ganze Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet und Cecilia war sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und können das Haus weiter empfehlen.

House is beautiful and conveniently located near the sights and the towns that we visited in Tuscany. Montalcino is a great town too, has many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having breakfast in the house overlooking the Tuscan hills, the view is fantastic! House has a lot of character and is very spacious. Cecilia was very helpful during our stay.
