This is a beautiful place. The garden is a peaceful oasis, cool and quiet. My favorite thing is the cosy relationship between inside and out. After staying in an elevator building in Mexico City, I appreciated being able to roll out of bed into a welcoming world of birds and blooms. Coming back from adventures in SMA, into our private courtyard garden felt like such a luxury. Inside, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the excellent shower, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I love the neighborhood, much more relaxed than the city center, which was only a 15 minute walk away. Great situation, I hope to return someday.

Wonderful location in a quiet lush setting. Heathers place is an affordable Oasis in the City. Some of the great benefits important to note. Purified UV water filtration so you can use tap water, lots of hot water with great water pressure. Heaters for the bedroom and living room. Wonderful sense of privacy and private outdoor patio area. I look forward to being a guest again soon.

Beautiful & serene oasis. Colonial style hacienda with lots of charm & art. Garden is lovely and peaceful environment. Heather was so kind and flexible when my flight was delayed. She takes excellent care of this property; both the garden & the home. Enjoyed her 2 pups Harry and Ziggy, and kitty Tigre. They greeted me every morning and when I returned. (If you are not an animal lover, this might not be the place for you.) Water pressure in shower was great. Two heaters kept me warm in January. Bed is a bit on the firm side. Host lives on property so is very responsive to any needs. Large Mexican kitchen well equipped. Be aware that from property to Centro is 15 minute uphill walk. Would definitely return.

We were enchanted by the garden. The area was quiet and the neighbors friendly. Easy access to taxis and walking to the central part of town. Heather was lovely and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable. We loved being there. Can’t wait to comeback again!
