This has been a fantastic stay for us. The Villa is perfectly situated between a Sandy beach and a rocky shore great for snorkelling. The Villa is spotlessly clean and kept that way daily. The hosts were on hand constantly for any information and help and are extremely friendly. There is ample parking on site and plenty of supermarkets and tavernas near by. There’s also an outside bbq area with pizza oven for personal use if you fancy a stay in. We definitely hope to return very soon.

This house is very tiny. If you plan on cooking meals this may not be the house for you as the stove is really just a hot plate. I would not recommend for more than 3 or 4people. It was a squeeze for our family of 5. It is very clean and well maintained. It is an easy walk to a public beach. Penelope was very helpful.

Penelope and her family were very friendly and welcoming. We were treated to olive oil, eggs, wine and bread during our stay. The villa was cleaned every day. The area was great for exploring - a short walk from Garakas beach and a short drive from several other lovely beaches. Our visit was at the end of the season so some tavernas had shut up for the winter but there were still enough open to choose from and the beaches and roads were very quiet. We had a particularly good lunch at Banana Beach. A hire car enabled us to explore all of the island we even climbed Mount Skopos to visit the monastery at the top which was well worth the effort.

Penelope and Sotiris were charming and helpful hosts. We saw them briefly everyday and they were very responsive if we have any problems or questions. They gave us helpful information about the area. The house is in a perfect location. Walking distance to two beaches: the large one is Gerakas and one of the best on the island, the smaller one is practically unknown and wild (a gem). Three or four good tavernas are within walking distance too if you don't feel like cooking. There are a few other villas on the property but far enough away that privacy was never a problem. The gardens are well established with lots of trees providing welcome shade. There is a wonderful barbecue area, where you can eat too. Inside the villa, it is basic comfort but that's all we needed since we were outside all day. It is equipped with all one could need for a holiday in the sun. The air con is in the bedrooms only - fine for us.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Penelope's villa. The place looks exactly as shown in the pictures. It's very charming and quiet, all you can hear are crickets and cicadas, with 2 beaches and tavernas in close proximity. Also, for those of us addicted to technology, the wireless was flawless. Vassilikos is in my opinion the best part of the island, well suited for people who are looking for natural beauty. Last but not least, Penelope and Sotiris were wonderful hosts, very helpful and plain nice :)
