Our stay at El Refugio la Brisa del Diablo was amazing. It was my wife and I and our 4 kids ranging from 6-14 years old. The house had room to sleep 6 comfortably and was clean upon arrival. It is located in the mountains/jungle, so any group should be ok with some bugs that find their way into the home. The best part about the stay was our interactions with the owners. Olga and Stephane served up some of the best meals that we have had in years. Even the chicken fingers were gourmet. I highly recommend the Beef Tenderloin as well, incredible. These meals cost extra, but the experience and the quality of food served make it absolutely worthwhile. In addition, Olga was always responsive to communications and helped us with setting up horseback ridding, waterfall jumping and canyon swimming, all of which my kids loved. I truly can't say enough about how great of a time my wife and kids had here, we stayed 3 nights on our way to Bocas and it was phenomenal.

Magnifique Extraordinaire Sublime Nous avons adoré, quel dommage que de ne passer qu’une seule nuit ici Le logement était encore mieux que ce qu’il donne en photos Tout confort et bien spacieux. Olga et Stéphane ont étés absolument charmants et de merveilleux hôtes. La piscine avec vue et chauffée était absolument délicieuse. Le repas au restaurant tenu par Olga en cuisine était digne d’un excellent restaurant et l ambiance crée sur place vous donnera l envie de ne jamais repartir. Merci à Olga et Stéphane pour ce petit goût de paradis et cette expérience malheureusement trop courte.

Our family will be back to Panama simply for the (all too short) stay at Refugio La Brisa del Diablo. Our biggest regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Olga and Stefan set the new standard for how a bed & breakfast should be done and we travel all over the world! Every detail they lovingly put into their property weather it’s the grounds full of lush fruit trees and magical string lights or the untra comfy beds with high quality linens. The greeting upon arrival and set of excursions. .Highly recommend the horse back and farm tour at Mandarain. It felt so immersed and authentic. Our teens were all smiles the whole tim (hard to pull off) and both picky eaters one a vegetarian ate up and loved all the dishes we received at their intimate special restaurant on property. We loved relaxing in the pool in the evening and view of Baru and valley! The food is a must. Some of the best I’ve ever tasted! All worth every penny and cannot wait to go back!!!!! The Jungle House at Olga’s place is wonderful! Very cool building, great view, feels like you’re in a treehouse! Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Showers were finicky with the hot water but she explained how to get it to work and it did! Only downside is the proximity to the road and the truck breaks and other loud vehicles. It could be disruptive at times. If that doesn’t bother you then 100% recommend!
