loved the layout- master on one side, 2 bedrooms and bath on other side. Lots of space in LR/kitchen/DR. Beautiful porch to sit on. Large walk-on shower in MB, bathtub shower in other bathroom. Steep road going up, gravel road for last part. Got up in in my van ok until last day when wet- then I slid all over and it was scary. Large flat parking area by house. Very inviting fire pit area. Curtains are not light blocking and front room has spotlights which light up room very brightly. Bathroom backed up to beds in both rooms on 1 side- not a problem for us but just awareness if other people in your group get up to shower early. Lawn people came without warning. Had animal in wall 1 night and leak in roof another- Darrell was very responsive (though he questioned whether we really heard an animal- yes Darrell we know the difference between an animal and a branch hitting the roof) Even with the problems, this was our favorite out of the 4 we stayed in this trip.

This was our second time staying at this cabin. We love this cabin and location and all the amenities. Darrell is a great host and very responsive. The cabin is very clean and offers everything you need during your stay. Check in and check out are super easy. The location is wonderful with great views and privacy. We love Bryson City and have visited here numerous times. We will definitely be back and contacting Darrell for our next stay!

An absolutely beautiful cabin in a wonderful location. This was a perfect stop for our family of six. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate and make the stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time at Darrell’s cabin. Our family of 6 had more than enough space to move around. The wrap around porch was our favorite spot and the views are even more gorgeous than the pictures show. We had a wonderful view of the sunset. Only was about a 5 minute drive to the national park. The driveway was easy to get up with our minivan and with the YouTube video that Darrell sent, it was a piece of cake finding the cabin. We definitely felt secluded which was exactly what we wanted. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of things to make our stay easy. We appreciated the plastic cups and plates for our kids to use. Darrell responded almost immediately whenever we messaged. Even before we were there. We’ll definitely be back!
