We are Sandra and Colin and we welcome you to WaldBach.House - a wonderful and large country house which can also be booked as a complete house e.g. for private events for up to 20 people or as individual self-contained apartments and private rooms. The house is a perfect choice for large family get-togethers who are looking for a naturesque and adventurous getaway. The house contains 2x fully equipped self-catering apartments, one of which is a wellness apartment, with its own private Sauna and private conservatory. They both have their own private kitchens and bathrooms. We also have a cozy penthouse loft room with an en-suite bathroom and various individual private rooms with shared facilities. Guest that book any room may also use the wellness area, as long as the basement apartment is not booked at a minimal fee. The rest of the house (4 double bedrooms) can also be rented out as various single and double rooms or completely e.g. for an event. Guests in these single rooms share a kitchen, lounge, and bathroom. The house is currently being renovated and these listings will be added soon. So, why are we doing this you may ask? - We are located at the portal to the Eifel, which makes it an ideal location to experience both City and Countryside vacations at the same location. We are literally surrounded by forests to explore with amazing trails for hiking, motorcycling, or eBiking. We want to offer a wonderful location for others to enjoy. We want to provide a memorable and homely experience for guests; such as being able to arrive, unpack, put your feet up, and relax in a wonderful garden next to a stream. Sandra ran a school canteen at a Waldorf school and managed the gardens at a Wellness center. Her passion is therefore healthy cooking and growing bio food in our garden. We are planning to offer healthy joint cooking experiences to our guests and also offer guests who are looking for a private event, a personalized menu, and a memorable catering experience. Both fully equipped apartments, loft apartments,s and all other rooms in the house have access to the beautiful garden with space to relax, play games, BBQ grill and you can even cool off and wade in the Vicht stream at the back of the garden on hot days. "Waldbach" House gets its name from being located in the forest (Wald) with the stream 'Vicht' (Bach) running through the back of the garden. Zweifall is known as the portal to the Eifel, offering beautiful scenery, and nature with great hiking trails through the forest and amazing mountain biking and motorcycling routes. You can also store your mountain bike /cycle or motorcycle in one of our lockable garages, including battery charging and eMTB washing facilities, including a bicycle repair stand for doing minor maintenance or repairs to your cycle for a pleasurable biking experience.
