Jim was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us clear instructions about the gate. All necessary instructions were there for us on a sheet but he made sure we knew the important things. The Barn is full of everything we could possibly need, as well as interesting books, ornaments, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The setting in Jim's garden is lovely. The village of Moynalty is worth visiting. There's a lovely walk by the river. It was a delight to stay at the Dream Barn.
Our stay with Jim was wonderful. He was kind and flexible with our check in. Jim and Susan were super friendly and helpful hosts. They gave us some fruit bread and fresh eggs, and helped us when we ran into trouble with horse bugs. Their garden is beautiful and they have a great view of the pastures. They also have wonderful cats in the property. Overall they treated us very well, we would definitely stay again.
The beauty of Moynalty’s countryside was certainly matched by the pretty, cosy ‘Dream Barn’ and by the warmth and kindness of Jim and Susan -we had a wonderful stay in your amazing home! Thank you so much. We look forward to coming back!
Jim was an outstanding host and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. Jim provided fresh eggs from his chickens that were a treat. The whole Dream Barn was cozy and felt very spacious with 1.5 baths and a sitting room that overlooks a field visited daily by steers. There was great light and WiFi too. We also loved the village of Moynalty. Within easy walking distance there were two coffee shops, two small grocery stores, a pub, a lovely park, and a pharmacy. People were very friendly. We didn’t have a car, but Jim kindly took us to Kells for larger grocery shopping or anything else we needed. He made us feel so welcome and at home. This is truly a special place.
Second time staying here - as before, Jim was extremely kind, gracious and helpful, flexible with check-in and very welcoming to us and our dog. Great, individual, peaceful place to stay when visiting family in the area - hopefully we'll be back again!

自我介绍
I moved to Moynalty in recent years. Here I have found a wonderful community, a beautiful environment and a vastly rich heritage. My hobbies include horticulture, cycling and minding a little flock of Rhode Island Hens who live with Roosty and Carmella, a rescued cockeral and hen (Light Sussex and Buff Orpington) Bluebell hens arrived Summer 2016. Recently Black Orpington hens arrived. Babooshka a lively Tibetan Terrier (from DSPCA) lives here and Tom a wild cat provide security. Four other cats live here. June, Natalie Blacky and Dicky. All showed up liked what they saw and moved in. I enjoy welcoming guests to experience the proverbial natural beauty of Moynalty and meet my neighbours.
