Hotel Josefshof's was exactly as the listing described it. My room was on the first floor and I was lucky enough that the staff kindly carried my bag up as there is no elevator. I assume not all the staff would be capable of this (I had a lovely gentleman help) so you should expect to carry everything up a few flights of stairs when staying here. No big deal in my opinion as the location is worth it and it's only at the start and end of the stay. The room itself was quite old but well maintained. Everything was functional and the bed was comfortable. The layout was a little strange with the WC in the foyer of the room, away from the bathroom, but I assumed this is a quirk based on the age of the building. There were a few stains on the carpet and it was a little dusty around the corners, but again due to the age of the building I wasn't surprised by this. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely rebook when I'm next in Vienna. Thanks for a great stay, Hotel Josefshof!

good location near tram and not too far from underground. good setup as apartment hosted by near by very nice hotel. spacious, clean and private. it was very good for our 3 night stay in Vienna to visit the city and Christmas Markets.
