We did not feel properly looked after, unfortunately. Having had a lovely time when we stayed here before, we were disappointed that much of the attention of the staff was on a large number of campers, rather than us guests staying in the (much more expensive) rooms. There are things which are still great about the place, such as its location, the quaintness of the log cabin, the efforts of the manager Mustafa (who is, unfortunately, leaving soon) and the courtesy lifts by car to and from Sirince village when we first arrived/went for dinner etc. We also had an excellent restaurant recommendation, although obviously most of the credit must naturally go to the restaurant itself! On the downside, my bed was not made up with sheets etc when we checked in at 6pm, but it was promised that they would do it while we were out for the evening. We got home at 11pm to find it still wasn't done, so called the staff and asked again. Only an hour and a half later did someone finally arrive to do it, and behaved as if we were asking him to go out of his way to help us! We then settled down to sleep, only to be repeatedly woken by rude, obnoxious guests running around shouting and laughing loudly outside our windows, and loudly breaking up branches for their campfire, until 4.30am. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep.

This hidden place very close to the cute village of Sirince is very convenient for a family. We were staying in a basic but comfortable house, on the top of the hill. We had a warm welcome, and enjoyed delicious home made breakfast and dinner !

Kayserkaya ist ein wunderschöner Ort mit Hippie-Spirit! Es herrscht dort eine entspannte und angenehme Atmospäre. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen, die dort arbeiten sind cool, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wunderbare Natur und Ruhe. Total abgelegen von allem Rummel und Lärm. Aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge z.B. nach Ephesus oder auch mal ans Meer. Sirince ist gut zu erreichen und hat alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Sehr schöner Pool mit ungechlortem Wasser und Bar und guter Musik. Die Holzhäuschen auf dem Gelände sind alle sehr schön gelegen. Anders als sonst bei ganzen Unterkünften von Airbnb war keine Küchenausstattung dabei, keinerlei Geschirr, nicht mal Gläser. Es gab einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Kochplatte und eine türkische Teekanne. Sonst nichts. Das war insofern nicht so schlimm, weil das Frühstück unten am Haupthaus im Preis inbegriffen war und wir nach Rücksprache dort Abendessen konnten. Was schade ist, ist das zumindest unser Haus nicht in gutem Zustand war. Es war nur oberflächlich geputzt. Viele Lampen haben nicht funktioniert, die Duscharmaturen waren nicht richtig in der Wand befestigt, Fenster waren schwer zu öffnen etc. Uns hat das nicht gestört und wir haben auch nichts gesagt. Wir fanden es nur schade, dass dieses schöne Häuschen nicht gepflegt wird. Die Terrasse sollte auch mal saniert werden, ein Planke ist durchgebrochen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Zeit dort und kommen gerne wieder!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is charming and very relaxed, and everyone was super helpful and friendly (especially driving us to and from the village any time we needed). Had a delicious breakfast by the pool and gorgeous sunset views from the hilltop (an easy stroll away). Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax or better people to look after us.
