Stayed at the cottage for the holiday weekend. Very pleased with the location and views. The cottage is appointed nicely and the outdoor seating is great with wonderful accents like the window boxes. Lots of small wildlife in the yard and many songbirds enhance the atmosphere. Very easy to check in and out and recommend to anyone looking to escape for a bit.

Such a nice place to stay. Very well maintained and a gorgeous property. The main bedroom is definitely more spacious than either of the bedrooms upstairs, but we stayed with one other couple and everyone was happy with the arrangements. Went for a wedding in Crozet. 20-30 minutes from the venue and Charlottesville. Great for our weekend. Highly recommend staying here!

What you see on the site is what you get!! Absolutely beautiful historic home. Taylor was very communicative months ago when we booked the home for the weekend informing me of the possible steepness of the stairs for our 9 year old. Fast forward to Friday when we were told our oldest daughter’s school added a Friday night show that she had to perform him. I messaged Taylor to let him know that we would be arriving way later than we had anticipated because of the show. He responded nearly immediately letting me know that that was ok and he would be sure we would be able to get in and that the lights would be on. Be aware that that if you arrive after dark, you will not see a thing on either side of the road getting and you have to pay attention to the signs. Beware the deer as well. We woke up to such a beautiful view outside! The home was very clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Taylor sold us on the stock coffee supplies! We enjoyed a family weekend away and this home was well worth our drive!
