Good location if you are visiting Etna, Catania and nearby cities. Easy to reach in quiet city. And unfortunately this is the only good thing what I can say about this place. In pictures place looks bigger, it is really small and you are not really staying in Villa, it feels like you are staying in apartment building! There is no place for working, TV or soap as it was mentioned in description. In bathroom towel dryer wasn’t working, sink and shower was dirty, showerhead was leaking and rusty, no bulb in bathroom mirror. Bed mat was old and made noise on every turn, very uncomfortable! Room was very cold with no possibilities to heat it and no even extra blanket. Backyard was dirty and with rubbish and it wasn’t pleasant to sit outside as you see dirt around. At least 4 cats walking in property (and yes it smells like cat pee) our mistake was to leave our shoes outside on balcony! After stay feels like pictures have been made years ago and since then nothing has been done.

Wir haben die Zeit bei Benedetto in Nicolosi sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und die Unterkunft schön gelegen. An- und Abreise haben problemlos funktioniert. Benedetto kam uns sogar mit einer kurzfristigen Verkürzung des Aufenthalts entgegen, weil wir einen Tag früher abreisen wollten. Wir waren mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs und sind nach Catania (ca. 1 Bus alle 1-2h) und zum Ätna (1 Bus am Tag hin um ca. 9:20 Uhr und 1 Bus zurück um 16:30 Uhr) gefahren sowie auf die Monti Rossi gewandert. Wir haben uns leider auf den Fotos verschaut und dachten, dass es zwei Zimmer sind, tatsächlich ist es aber nur 1 Zimmer, in dem Küche, Schlaf- und Wohnbereich sind, sowie 1 Bad. Das ist natürlich unsere Schuld, aber es war zu zweit schon ziemlich klein. Die einfach ausgestattete Küche eignet sich für einfache Mahlzeiten, aber nicht für große Kocheskapaden. Der Außenbereich wirkte weniger einladend als auf den Fotos. Bei unserem Apartment (blau) gab es keine Sitzmöglichkeit.

Even though we knew it was a studio/small place, in photos room seems way bigger than it actually is. But that was not a huge issue. Pros: 1. quiet location 2. easy parking facilities 3. even though it's on the outskirts of Nicolosi, in 2min drive by car you're close to many restaurants. 4. Reasonable WIFI Cons: 1. One thing I don't tolerate is dirt. Toilet seat had drops of urine on it! obviously we had to clean it! Dust found in wardrobe, bathroom towel rail was filthy with dust, the 10cm gap between wall and kitchen is disgustingly dirty! Shower cubicle full of water and soap drops, so it hasn't been even wiped after previous clients! 2. Shower leaks water from pipe 3. dirty shower tray 4. no bathroom bin 5. no toilet paper holder 6. no bulb in bathroom mirror 7. no television available, even though it's listed as having a TV. 8. extremely uncomfortable bed! mattress needs immediate changing...sinks in the middle! From someone who has tourism at heart, I expected much better!
