Perfectly situated next to Loch Ness. All amenities were in walking distance. Beautiful apartment and facilities, caters for all your needs. Would highly recommend the pizza’s in Beaufort Hse (must book).
Nice apartment in a beautiful abbey with lots of character. The abbey has lovely grounds and a beautiful view along Loch Ness. Less than 5 minutes’ walk to the historic canal locks and village, where you can get on a cruise boat or a speed boat to see the loch, including Urquhart Castle from the water.
A unique Hogwarts style (Harry Potter) experience! The Abby is stunning ofcourse it's old so a flat inside an Abby comes with it's own snags. Its difficult to keep the flat warm. Baljit has been very friendly and communicative through the app, we met Julie who might be the care taker of the flat/Abby and helped us find our way around with the flat and the information booklet is really helpful. Although there are no clear direction signs to go to the courtyard and other amenities from the flat we managed to find our way around the map was not completely helpful but it gave us an idea and discover the route ourselves like in olden times. It's a pretty expensive stay! The club amenities are so-so, not up to the mark. Swimming pool is inaccessible after 5pm which is useless if we are there to travel and explore the highlands during the day. Over all its a unique stay and interesting experience for all of us and we still loved it!
