Highy recommended, Elena is the best and most kind host we ever had! She will make sure you will have the best visit possible! The house, the garden, the view, it is all perfect and beautiful. We didn’t even feel like leaving the house to see the surroundings, felt very at home. Also Peccioli and the residents are great, the town of peccioli has everything you need. Big supermarket also nearby, 10 minutes by car. We will definitely return! Thank you Elena! Ciaooo
Words and pictures really can’t describe the beauty of this property and it’s location. Peccioli itself was stunning. Elena went above and beyond what an Airbnb host would be expected of. Elena was always willing to give advice, make suggestions and help in any way possible. She even suggested giving me a cooking lesson on risotto which I took her up on! Elena truly loves people and goes the extra mile to make her guests stay, something unforgettable to say the least. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Tuscan region of Italy to seriously consider Elena’s place in the mid evil hilltop village of Peccioli. Its location is close to the port city of Livorno, Pisa, and Florence. The surrounding landscape & towns make for great exploring and there’s a plethora of great places to dine in and around Peccioli. The house itself was spotless upon arrival, beautiful books all around filled with art and information. My entire experience was fantastic. One week is too short.
Ich habe die Unterkunft für eine Woche auch wegen der zentralen Lage zu allen Top Städten der Toskana gewählt. Geplant war immer ein Tag Städtetour (Florenz Pisa+ Lucca Siena) . Dazwischen immer ein Tag chillen auf der unglaublich tollen Terrasse mit unterverbautem Blick in die Weite der Toskana und absoluter Privatsphäre.Elena war uns stets eine großartige Beraterin für unsere Stadttouren. Wie man am besten mit dem Zug reist war sehr hilfreich.Alle Städte waren immer nur eine gute Stunde mit dem Zug von uns entfernt. Wir fuhren mit unserem Auto immer nur bis zum nächsten größeren Bahnhof und dann mit dem Zug weiter. Der Ort der Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum. Die Eisdiele , die Bar " La Terazza" und ca. 3 kleine Einkaufsläden des Ortes waren nur wenige Minuten entfernt von uns. Jeder kennt dort jeden und und von Anfang an ist man Teil des puren italienischen Alltags und fühlt sich einfach nur wohl. Der Abschied fiel schwer.
We had a great time staying at Elenas place. It‘s perfectly located and we loved the view. Elena is a great host. Hopefully we can come back one day.
Elenas bolig er helt rolig beliggende med smuk udsigt over de toscanske bakker fra hus og terrasse. Der er trods den rolige beliggenhed kun 1 min gang til centrum af smukke Peccioli og byens restauranter. Elena er meget positiv og var altid klar på at komme med forslag til udflugter i lokalområdet. Vi kan klart anbefale Elena som vært!

Tuscany and its landscapes is what I love most. It excites me every day just like it was the first time. Being born in a Tyrrenian sea island, landscapes are for me a reason of life, a need, something that I cannot do without. It is fortunate that I could buy this place - my dream house. These 67 sqmeters, placed at the bottom of a steep staircase, overlook one of the most beautiful and sensual panoramas of the world! The place has been restored for my family, and we are used to spending time there when it is free. We also love sharing it with other people who, like me, recognise in Tuscany and all its amenities "The great Beauty", la vita è bella! I spend my time trying to tame an escarpment below the house that was abandoned for over 50 years. A jungle of pomegranate trees covered with brambles and vines bordered my garden. This is my "Mission impossible". It's hard to fight nature; she always wins. But we can find compromises. Remove where there is too much, try to enforce some order, and add flowers and colours - then get busy. In the evening I am pleased to feel tired, and sleep comes very deep. It is nice to rest on the terrace, looking at the horizon, the sky, the thousand shades of green, and listen to the birds or watch them chase each other joyfully. Later before darkness, I wait for a pair of fawns that slowly advance in the scrub vegetation in search of food. Try not to make noise, they could run away! To read books or finally browse a catalog of art is also something to do on the terrace. In this place for sure you will have a detox from television, because here listening to Puccini opera is much better. Fresh food and the pursuit of quality nutrition is one of my special interests. I like to share all this with my guests, and often I realise that my guests are like me. Like me, my guests are thrilled by the spectacles of nature. For this reason, very often it creates between us a relationship of sympathy, and a memory to take with them over time.
