Spent the Michigan winter in Sherman Oaks. Lovely home, safe neighborhood, walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Great BBQ grill in the backyard with a nice shady sitting area. A word of caution, no handrails on the entrance steps, they were challenging for me. Also, please be aware, family room is sunken by about 6” from the rest of the house. It caused a lot of back pain when I misstepped the first time entering the room, so do mind the step. Only negative is the kitchen gas range (a top of the line unit) only lights on one burner. It made cooking a challenge.

Good points Beautiful location!! Felt safe Good host Pretty house Bad points TVs not working, bath not working Trouble the door locks. A lot of clutter, a little dusty and a few spiders in the every corner of the ceilings No access to the garage. Over gets 3.5 stars

We have stayed here for a month and had a great experience in both the house and the neighborhood. Ashton is always supportive and friendly helping us with various issues. I would highly recommend it to anyone who visit Sherman oaks or Encino and would stay at this house next time.

I always love staying in Ashton’s houses. They’re all very unique. This was perfect for us and very centrally located!!

It was a very pleasant experience. House was in order. Had everything we needed. Just walked in and started vacationing. Location was centralized to everything.
