This will be a mixed review. First I will start with the overall experience. There was myself and my two daughters (in their twenties). We had a great time. The chalet is very small, but all we wanted was somewhere to sleep and have breakfast. The kitchen was great too. The location to the village is easy to get to by bus. The upstairs sleep area is impractical. The ladder to go up and down is potentially awkward. And if you were sleeping upstairs and needed the bathroom during the night, I think it would be potentially hazardous in the dark. Also, the bathroom is two levels down and means passing through the other bedroom where others may be sleeping (and I’m not sure I would leave young kids up there either without supervision). So, I slept on the sofa bed in the kitchen area while my daughters had the bedroom downstairs. This worked out well and was very comfortable. The bathroom is also very small. The town, a 30 min walk or 5 on the bus. Ski slopes are a few mins further.

Très joli petit chalet rénové de manière intelligente, chaleureux et moderne, avec abri de jardin. Emplacement nickel, au calme, superbe environnement, à 10-15 min à pied du centre du village et avec la navette qui passe juste à côté. L’échelle menant à l’étage n’est pas très confortable à grimper, et il serait bien d’installer une protection / un système de sécurité en haut pour combler le trou qui fait un peu peur avec de jeunes enfants. Quelques points sont tout de même à améliorer. Le ménage n’était pas correctement fait et ne correspondait certainement pas au ménage de « qualité hôtelière » vanté dans la description. Il est aussi indiqué que shampoing, produit douche sont fournis, ce n’est pas le cas. Niveau réparations à effectuer, le porte manteau situé au-dessus de la cage d’escalier est tombé (avec les manteaux dessus), manquant de blesser qqn. L’abri de jardin ne peut pas être fermé correctement, donc même le verrouiller à clé ne sert à rien malheureusement.

We loved staying in this chalet. It was very comfortable with enough space for the 3 of us. The facilities were modern and worked well, we enjoyed using the fondue set! It was nice to have 2 proper bedrooms and the attic mezzanine room had a lovely picture window. My daughter particularly enjoyed relaxing on the hammock with the cushions and fluffy blankets provided! I would say it might be a challenge for some to get up the vertical ladder to this bedroom though! Catching the bus nearby worked very well for us for getting to the lifts and back. We had a fantastic holiday in beautiful La Clusaz!

Lovely location, very compact mini chalet. Superb views and great outdoor terrace. Can hear tinkle of cow bells. Spotlessly clean. Be aware access to top twin bedroom is via a floor to ceiling vertical ladder only, and there is no safety hatch cover or barrier to prevent falling down the opening in the attic bedroom floor. Not suitable for young children or those prone to restless sleep. TV not working, oven is combination microwave/oven/grill which does not have instructions but pre-set programmes were helpful. Great coffee machine (pods). Towels on the small side so bring your own if you like large bath sheets.
