Christine was very responsive and answered all our questions quickly and as we were flying home out of Winnipeg she allowed us to stay in the house for as long as we needed so no early check out for us, which was a great help

Christene's place is super comfortable and well-organized, well located and ideal for families. We stayed for a month (basically all of August 2021) -- though the weather was very when we arrived the two air conditioning units (one in the dining room, one in the primary bedroom upstairs), fans, and architecture were great for keeping things comfortable inside. Goldilocks would approve of the beds and couches, which were just right, neither too hard nor too soft. We used the projector and our laptop for family movie nights and the kitchen, dining room and patio/bbq were perfect for family dinners. The neighborhood is great for walks and bike rides, and was an ideal base for exploring Winnipeg and surrounding areas. I really enjoyed evening walks along the tree-shaded streets of River Heights. Christene was very responsive and thorough in dealing with a couple of minor issues (wasp nest on the patio, small plumbing leak) that popped up during our stay. Overall it was the perfect temporary home to start our life in Winnipeg.

It was a pleasure staying in Christene’s home again. It really is the perfect fit for our family of 5 and all the amenities for our young children are incredibly convenient (play area both outside and in the basement, books and toys and art supplies, parks nearby with skating rinks and hills to toboggan). Thoughtful touches that were much appreciated were carefully curated Christmas books, a whole house decorated beautifully for Christmas (including a tree), Christmas linens for the table, and two bottles of wine. Prior to our stay, Manitoba issued a code red for the province and it was a difficult decision for our family whether or not we should still travel. Christene worked with us to provide options should we decide to delay or change our travel plans. She went above and beyond the Airbnb policies to accommodate our stay.

Family of four, plus a nanny. Had lots of room. We did get an additional AC unit and a couple more fans during the hot period of summer - but that was a preference for us. Very shady and that backyard space is beautiful.
