自我介绍

Stan and I are both in our 60's. Stan is a retired teacher, and I'm a retired library manager. We're both outdoor people. We still regularly cycle with Stan recently undertaking Tour Aotearoa - an off-road cycle adventure from North Cape to the Bluff. I sea kayak and regularly get out for long paddles on the Tauranga harbour around the shellbanks and more secluded areas. I'm also a wakaama (outrigger) canoe paddler. Stan's orienteered for decades and still competes. We both regularly walk and I've tramped over most of the local Kaimai and Coromandel ranges over the years. I'm still a keen member of Forest & Bird and have a knowledge of local botany and birds. We are also volunteer radio operators at the local Waihi Beach Coastguard. Over the years Stan has traveled extensively throughout the world, but I'm a late convert to travelling. Our last trip was to England to catch up with family, to canal boat, cycle and genealogise. We're independent travellers and will be happy to help you with your adventures in our patch.
