自我介绍

Oh gosh, where to begin? I suppose I've found the most enjoyment in my life when I've able to escape to the mountains, leaving the city and the concrete behind to connect with nature and people when they are far less stressed by everyday of modern life. Thus, at the end of 2012 my underlying passion was realized, work less, travel more. There were a few obstacles in my path, and much brain power was spent in 2013/2014 towards conjuring ideas of how to overcome them; 1. A convenient travel vehicle 2. My handyman business 3. My home in Tampa In late 2014 Vanderlust was born, a combination of Sprinter van and the innate desire to travel, wanderlust, a more modern version of an RV. This provided the means to have gear, food, a bed, shower, transportation and essentially everything, all ready to go at a moments notice. I also unlocked the mystery of making my business wireless, so my home was the final tricky obstacle. The idea of converting my home into a shared, hand crafted AirBnB living space all started when my buddy Stephen moved back to Tampa and needed a temporary place to crash. Very soon after his arrival, the AirBnB concept whispered itself into reality and The Urban Crash was conceived. A shared living space, managed by a live in guest host through a mutually beneficial arrangement. Amidst the reinvention of my home and my move into Vanderlust as my bedroom, the tiny house was realized as the final component to The Urban Crash. A tiny house on wheels parked in the back yard, sharing the outdoor living space of the main house, yet providing a more private experience. While I vanlifed around North America over the last few years, my heart drew me to Knoxville over and over, it was clearly the place I was meant to find some next chapter of my life. Little did I know, it was my heart that was on a path to opening and learning to truly love. Then, unexpectedly, the woman I would get to fully experience the capacity of my heart with literally walked, well... hiked, into my life. We’ve been basically inseparable since that day, through the lessons we experience week to week, we are both finding the true meaning of love together, in all it’s challenges and beauty, building a life together. Ashley and I find ourselves on a very similar wavelength, most passionate about mountain biking, rock climbing & yoga... but truly loving all things outdoors, from the playfulness of frisbee, the slowed down focus of hiking & camping and the freedom of traveling in our van. On the simpler side...crafted coffee, tea, the cosmos, conversation, creative & healthy food, living life in the moment, minimizing and the imagination of artistic creativity keep our minds whirling around daily.
